Last week we read The Gingerbread Man and wondered what would really happen if the Gingerbread Man got wet... so we took gingerbread cookies and put them in water to see what would happen. The children were all excited to see how the gingerbread got mushy and started to break apart. We then talked about how we could have helped the Gingerbread Man to cross the water without getting wet...so we had a building challenge where the students worked on building their own bridges, boats, rafts and ladders for the Gingerbread Man. Great work everyone!
