Printing Practice

The children have been working hard learning to print their first names, using both upper and lower case letters. Some children are ready to begin printing their name on their own, while others are still 'following the yellow brick road' (printing on top of their name printed by me in yellow highlighter). Either way the children are doing great! Any extra practice with this at home would be great for your child to continue to build on their fine motor development. Today we added printing numbers from 1-10, with everyone 'following the yellow brick road' to start. We usually sit at our tables when working, but today we worked together at the carpet, printing the numbers 1-10 following along with our Number song. Great work today!
