Mixing Colours

Some of our students have been really interested in mixing colours, especially after we read the story Purplicious by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann, and learned that blue and pink mixed together make a shade of purple. We decided to mix yellow and red, red and blue and blue and yellow to see what would happen. We were all very excited when we made orange, purple and green. There have been many beautiful paintings created in our room since. Great mixing!
