Centre Time

Last week the students all worked hard at our various centres. At the Scissor Centre students worked on their fine motor skills, while learning to hold the scissors properly. At the Pattern Block Centre students worked on matching the various shapes with the pattern template to create pictures. At the Foam Block Centre students worked together on building various structures. At the Rock Centre students worked on stacking multiple rocks to see how well they could balance the various sizes of rocks. And at the Name Print Centre students worked on printing their name, using both upper and lower case letters, while working on their pencil grip. Students are encouraged to continue to practice printing their name at home, using various writing tools, to further develop their fine motor skills. Keep up the good work!
