Pumpkin Experiment

Yesterday the students all seemed to enjoy exploring what would happen to our pumpkin if we mixed baking soda and vinegar inside it. The students all predicted an eruption, a mess and lots of red bubbles... what we got was a small eruption of white bubbles in our pumpkin which made a mess. The students decided that our white bubble eruption did not go out and over our pumpkin because our pumpkin was too tall and we didn't have enough baking soda and vinegar. Great experimenting everyone!
