Here is also a picture of the note that will be in your child's mailbag today. It explains our 100th day celebration and Valentine's Day. Please note that we have 15 children in our class.

The children really enjoyed making Letter K crowns with Ms. C today in PALS class! Here is a super cute picture of them...

Printing Practice
Today the students all worked very hard in their Journal books. We came up with a topic to write about together and decided on a sentence to use. The students then worked hard printing the sentence in their books and drawing a detailed picture to go with it. Our sentence today was 'On Valentines Day I will get my mom...'. Any extra practice printing words and/or sentences, while trying to stay in the space provided, would be great for their fine motor development. Great work today!

Super Bowl Party
Today we also had a Touchdown Dance Challenge where the students showed off their own Touchdown Dance. We had so much fun!

Sorry the pictures are blurry... the kids had super fast dance moves!
Here's one of their Super Loud Cheer...
Touchdown Challenge
With Super Bowl weekend coming we decided to team up with the class next door and have a Touchdown Challenge. The students had to count how many pompoms they could launch over the 'goal posts' using plastic spoons and popsicle sticks. Great team work today!

Groundhog Day
Today the students were very excited to watch Wiarton Willie come out of the ground and not see his shadow, which means an early spring. The only problem is Punxsutawney Phil did see his shadow and predicts 6 more weeks of winter. Most of the children are going with Wiarton Willies prediction because he's from Canada. We'll have to just wait and see...
Here's a poem we worked on today. It would be great if you could read it together. Have fun!
