Weekly centres
We were very busy today during our centre time exploring our new weekly centres. This week we are learning to measure using cars, writing the alphabet in our journals, practicing printing on whiteboards, finding sight words in our books and adding using dominoes.

Lots of Letters
The students have been working hard becoming Letter Experts! We have had lots of letter work happening during play time. Way to go boys and girls! We are encouraging the children to look around their house and name the letter of the alphabet that certain objects begin with. What a great way for them to practice their letter sounds too!

Master Builders
We are very proud to announce that we have some Master Builders in our room! Students have been working very hard building animal houses, castles and even car ramps. It has been a lot of fun watching the planning process that the children work through to come up with their finished product. Great work!

Good News
Our students have been so excited during Good News time! They seem to enjoy listening to everyone's Good News. They really enjoy counting out the scoops of popcorn kernels we need to add to our jar, for every Good News ticket that comes in. So far we are up to 107 Good News tickets! Good work everyone! Keep up the kindness!
