Candy Cane Melt

Today we wondered what would happen if we put candy canes in pop, water, and vinegar. The students discussed their predictions first and we charted them in green marker. Once the candy canes were all melted away we charted our results and observations in red marker. Great work today everyone!

The Grade 7 students wanted to send a big Thank You to everyone for ordering and sharing candy cane grams this year in support of their Muskoka Woods Grade 8 Trip Fundraiser for next year. The class all had a great time collecting their candy canes from our two grade 7 class reps Maddy and Chloe. Enjoy your treats! 

Milk, Cookies and Christmas PJ’s

Thank you to Parent Council for sharing delicious milk and cookies with the whole school today. The students all seemed to really enjoy their treats while being cozy in their super cute Christmas pj’s. 

Christmas Dance Party

The children all had a great time in the gym today dancing around to Christmas songs. What a great display of Christmas Cheer! 

What colour is your Christmas shirt?

Today the students participated in a tally count of how many shirts we had in the classroom in each of the different Christmas colours. We talked about the most, the least, the middle and what it means when two groups have the same result. Great work today! Enjoy your weekend and please remember that Monday is Christmas Pajama day.
